Inflation in April

The inflation rate in April is 6.0%

The inflation rate in April is 6.0%, down from 6.8% in March, marking the lowest inflation rate since early 2022.

The housing, heat, and electricity, as well as, calculated rent, has the most significant impact, rising by 1.2% monthly. Travel and transportation costs, especially international flight fares, increased by over 11% monthly.

Starting June, the method for calculating the cost of living in one’s own housing will change to the rental value method to prevent deviations related to financial market developments.
